I’ve seen a lot of movies.

No, I didn’t watch all these movies yesterday. Its taken me at least two weeks to see all of these. What can I say? I love movies. They are presented in the order that I saw them in.
The Aviator: A biopic depicting the early years of legendary director and aviator Howard Hughes’ career, from the late 1920’s to the mid-1940’s.
If Cate Blanchett’s portrayal of Katharine Hepburn is even remotely close to accurate, I am just as stubborn and crazy as my namesake. I’m not really a big Leo D fan, but I think he did a fair job in this movie. I really enjoyed it, found it a little dull at times and a little over whelming at others but I’d see it again. Not really knowing anything about the story behind the movie, I was still left a little confused about a few minor details for Howard Hughes’ life, but I was able to look them up.
Closer: An intriguing story of passion, drama, love, and abandonment involving two couples, which only gets more complicated when the man from the first couple gets acquainted with the woman from the second coupling.

I didn’t really know much about this one either, just that it had a bunch of big names in it. I’d group this movie with Garden State and I <3 Huckabees. (Wouldn’t ya know, the stars of the movie were also in those moives!) I was thrilled that it took place in London, considering that I was over there this time last year, and I was even able to recognize a few places. It also made me want to go to the Aquarium. I’d see it again. It was very sexual and a little over the top, but the lead actors were fantastic.
“A guy dresses up like a bat clearly has issues. ”
Batman Begins: The story of how Bruce Wayne became what he was destined to be: Batman.
I had no idea this movie was out so soon until the roommate and I were up at the theatre on Monday night. So we got tickets to the Tuesday night midnight showing. And if you know anything about me, you know that I /love/ Batman: my LJ name, my AIM, I think its kind of obvious. Its really more of a High School/Lee-ism, but he’s still my favorite hero.

I loved the movie. The Scarecrow totally freaked me out; there are really only two things that I can’t stand, maggots and cockroaches. I do think that the character of daddy Wayne could’ve been a little stronger, however. Christopher Nolan did a great job of directing the movie and it was full of some of my favorite actors (like Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine).
“I can’t kill you, but I don’t have to save you.”
Mr. & Mrs. Smith: A bored married couple is surprised to learn that they are assassins hired to kill each other.
Two very hot people in a movie about assassins and guns?! I loved it. Angelina Jolie is totally hot and Brad Pitt has that adorable boyish charm. It was a little slow to begin, but once the action got started it was non-stop fun! I was a waiting for someone to say I love you, as I was let down. I’m curious as to how it compares with the original.

Not included in this list are Oceans Twelve and the Phantom of the Opera, movies that I originally saw over the winter holiday in the theatres.
But this was totally a waste of time. — and your roommate’s money.
there is a mr. and mrs. smith original!?
morgan freeman? don’t you mean samuel jackson?! :-P

i don’t like you anymore.
