I know I just changed the layout but I figured with the season changing and my big move just weeks away that I’d get a head start on a new lay out themed around the two. I’m still trying to figure out Word Press so the permalinks don’t quite work. But I haven’t made my impact on the design world and all of 3 people read this on a semi-regular (never) basis, so I don’t think its a big deal. Yet. Some day I’ll get the archives going.

As for the new layout, I chose some fall-ish colors: a nice plum and a sort of UT burnt orange mostly. Go… Longhorns? The navigation at the top is “inspired by” Jaredigital.com. By “inspired” I mostly mean taken, changed up a bit and integrated into the design. Yes, credit is given to him in the code. Gosh!

I’m pretty impressed with myself for adding two three very simple PHP scripts in the index… one small step for Kate, one giant leap for man kind. Or something of that nature. What else do I have to say about the design? I still think its pretty simple, but its a big step for me. Peace out and happy hunting. Or haunting, which ever you prefer.
