Big family get together coming up? And your snooty cousin who always has that big designer purse will be there showing it off? Ok, well maybe that’s just in my family. But have no fear, Bag Borrow or Steal is here to save the day!
How it works: It is just like Netflix or Blockbuster’s online video rental system, only with designer purses. You sign up, pick which bag you want, then add your name to the waiting list for that specific bag. Once they mail the bag to you, then you pay a weekly or monthly fee based on how long you want to keep the bag and what “category” the bag falls in: Couture, Diva, Princess, or Trendsetter. When you’re done with it, you pack it up and ship it back to them. There are no late fees, you can have more than one out at a time and you can look fabulous without that giant hole in your pocket! Not to mention you can also borrow designer jewelry just like the stars! The only downside is that you have to pay a $9.95 monthly fee for your membership. But they do offer a free membership that will allow you to browse their collection and shop the outlet for discounted used bags.
This will surely help feed my superficial obsession with couture fashion but not send me straight to the poor house. Now if only they did shoes too…
