Three, oh it’s the Magic Number.

Chad, the office manager, just announced to the rest of the office that “whatever Kate says is priority one.” I want my own personal assistant and a juicer at my desk! Stat. And someone do my laundry, I’m out of clean underwear! Also, one of my clients has given me the nickname “Katy-poo” so now Chad has decided to call me that as well. Isn’t that lovely? Richard, the Chief Technical Officer of the company is here this week and he asked me how I was handling working in an office of all guys. I told him I could more than hold my own with them, and Jason and Steven agreed.
I am now headed into my third month at Apollo and things are going great. I’m now up to six clients, three of which are Tier 1 (translation: $$$) Work is finally starting to pick up, last week was my busiest week so far since working here. Next week I’ll be out three of the five days. I’m headed to San Antonio on Monday for a meeting on Tuesday, then Chad and I are flying out to Lubbock to have lunch and some face time with my client out there. Then the following week, I’m headed back down to Waco for a creative meeting with one of my clients there. Busy busy!
I’m still loving downtown Dallas– what could be better than taking the Dart Train down to the West End, sitting outside and enjoying a nice lunch with your co-workers? We got to watch the State Fair Parade pass down Main Street from the comfort of our office, any type of food you could possibly want is pretty much within walking distance, and I am now in my third parking spot since working here– this one is just two blocks away instead of six although its not covered like the previous one was. I’ll deal, I’ve got a cute rain jacket and umbrella.
