Happy Halloween!
Oct 31st, 2006 by Kate
We have arrived at yet another All Hallows’ Eve. Or as it is more commonly known in the states, just plain Halloween. It’s time for another fun night of dressing up, scaring little children, then throwing cheap candy at them and consuming all the good stuff. Don’t you just love it?! I know it do, Halloween is my favorite day of the year. Now all I need is a bottle of good Vodka and a bag of candy corn to make my night complete.
What started out as a Pagan festival among the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain with Irish, Scots, Welsh and other immigrants in North America during the 19th century has been embraced by most other Western countries as a part of American pop culture in our present time. To this day, some cultural traditions hold that Halloween is one of the few times of the year when spirits can make contact with the living and when magic is at its most powerful. Bibity bobity boo!
And for your viewing pleasure, a 30 second spot that I find creepier than most of the 2 hour “horror” movies found in theatres today. They show this thing on tv! Mothers beware, PS3 capitalizes on the fact that naked baby dolls are always scary–
Seriously freaky.
