Meatloaf Snowman.

Early yesterday afternoon I composed an email to the producer I work with in the LA office detailing a project request I had just received from a client. I was coming off a bit of an emotional high from the night before, trying to waste some time to avoid calling a client about another matter, and was nursing a cup of coffee which was the only thing in my stomach.
“Oh well. This should be easy. We like easy projects. They give us more time to screw around and stare into space. Did you know that there are 132 tiles on the ceiling in our office? I totally just made that up.”
I ended the email “If you need anything else from me or have any questions, I’ll be building a snow man with the imaginary snow I keep in the back room.”
When he called me later that day, I asked him about the email and he said he had a good laugh. I aim to please!
In a follow up email at the end of the day, I included the line, “My snowman melted. I wonder if I could use ground beef and make like a snowman shaped meatloaf… Meatloaf is scary but this is a good idea. I shall have to expand on this. Tomorrow.”
Funny things happen when all you consume in a working day is a cup of coffee. Where the hell did the meatloaf snowman come from?
