I Miss DC.

That’s why I’m making the trip up there this weekend! I couldn’t be more excited. Except for the fact that my flight was at 8 this morning and I’m only going to be here for 46 hours.
It was my intention to go back in April when the cherry blossoms were blooming but due to unforeseen circumstances, that trip got postponed. My mom sent me an email advertising cheap round trip tickets earlier this summer and in honor of upcoming my birthday I decided to buy a ticket head up this weekend. I intend to visit some of my favorite places including the zoo. I am most looking forward to brunch at Bread and Chocolate tomorrow and then a stroll around the Eastern Market.
I really am looking forward to the experience. I’ve packed just a backpack and I’m staying in a hostel. I don’t really have any intention of spending any time in a hotel room so why shell out the big bucks to stay in the city proper? I’m just trying to be economical!
