Engagement Pics: Session 2.
The Mister and I have already had one set of engagement pictures taken by Jenna Cole. They are amazing. Have you seen them? Well, we have another session with our day-of photographer scheduled for this coming weekend in the hometown.
I’ve been trying to come up with some unique locations for our shoot. We’ve already done the outdoor/nature thing with Jenna. And while it’s not necessarily out, I want to mix it up a bit. The abandoned silos downtown have been done, the main park in town has been done, the campus where our reception is taking place has been done. What are some other ideas?
I had though of maybe going to the coffee shop downtown and doing a couple there. The Mister isn’t a big coffee drinker, but I love the stuff. There are also a lot of interesting textures around downtown that we could take advantage of. The old train depot up North is also an option. That is where the photographer’s office is located so we’ll be right there. I’m not too familiar with that city so maybe we can find something of interest there. Although that old high school rivalry itch is starting to twinge.
We have a couple tricks up our sleeves, and a few favors called in. Hopefully those will work out. They have the potential to be really cool.
I’m also trying to figure out what to wear!

Brick streets with street lamps would be amazing with the right outfit. Think old-meets-new classy. Also, I’m sure you could find things in and around the antique stores that would be fun to work with.

Oh I’m really behind on reading blogs! You and Adam are troopers for willing to go through 2 sessions! Mike and I did ours this past Wednesday and between doing hair, makeup, and the blazing 99 degree heat, I was so tired and worn out at the end of the shoot!
