Dallas Bridal Show.

This past weekend the future in-laws came to town to celebrate FH’s birthday. It just happened to be the weekend of the Dallas Bridal Show so I rounded up some bridesmaids, the MOB and headed to the big city for some wedding related fun.

We had appointments at a couple dress shops before the show. I really want FMIL and FSIL to part of the wedding planning process. After a quick stop for lunch, we headed to the Dallas Bridal Show. They wouldn’t let us take our cameras in the show. MOH even had to check hers at the door. She was not too excited about that. Mine just happened to be in the pocket so it was safe from the bouncers checking my purse. After we got that all taken care of, we wondered up and down the aisles gathering ideas, pamphlets, and placing my pre-printed address labels on entry forms. I should be getting a bunch of junk email any day now. My favorite part was sampling all the sweet goodies with my FMIL. She’d pull me from one line to another just like a little kid.

This is an accurate representation of what the Bridal Show looked like:

As my MOH said, the Bridal Show is more for those brides who don’t have any idea what they’re doing, not brides like me who have it mostly all together. However, I did get a few good ideas and some inspiration:

Belletrist Design Loft
Heller and Reid
Just Wright Designs
World Beer Company

By the end of the day, we were exhausted! But it was worth it.
