Our First Registry Present!

Yesterday afternoon I got an email from Pottery Barn about some sale they were having so I was a good consumer and boosted their click through rate by following the link to their website. (Can you tell I work in online advertising??) I really didn’t have any intention of buying anything but after I was through browsing I decided to login and check out our registry. I almost fell out of my seat when I saw this:

Someone bought us a set of plates off our registry! The curiosity was killing me: who was it that had jumped the gun and bought us something with over five months to go until the big day? It had to be someone on the inside because the link to the website hasn’t been publicly released yet (it will be soon!). I clicked over to the Thank You Manager, which will become my best friend when I have to start writing Thank You notes, to see who it was.

Any guesses?

Cheater!

Just kidding. Everybody does it. Sometimes, it’s unavoidable!

Ah, the click-through rate! Who was it? Mommy? G-ma? Fiancee?

Haha that’s funny. I started some registries a while back just to sort of keep track of things we needed, but didn’t tell anyone about them (with the wedding being a year away!) But then Mike’s mom found them on TheKnot (sneaky) so I’ve been getting registry items for birthdays, etc. Hehe. I guess at this point it’s more of a general wishlist.

Katie got it right, it was mommy!
